This poem is amazing. Even though you submitted it a few years ago, I just found it today. You did an extraordinary job; the way you told this story in poetic rhyming fashion and made it flow so mellifluously. I've read it at least ten times now and each time I find some new little quirk to enjoy.
'She took down knights and holy men' I love how you didn't say bishop, but instead stated it as 'holy men.' This poem actually reminds me of some of Walt Whitman's work.
From what I've read and written, some poem endings can be really awkward, but congratulations, the last stanza was one of my favorite parts. Congratulations on writing such a masterpiece.
